The story of the Shackleton-Rowett Expedition by Jan Chojecki (grandson of John Quiller Rowett).

This account sets out the events that occurred before, during and after the voyage, told through the words of the protagonists with their letters, logs and diaries, many of which have not previously been published.

This book asks many questions about the 1921 expedition and looks at unresolved puzzles such as why the Quest's seaplane was never used and what happened to "Questie" the ships feline mascot.
